Ancona center

The project was for the redevelopment of a strategic area of the city of Ancona, in Italy, and includes the construction of a road junction as part of the reorganisation of the entire road network in the district and the construction of five office and retail buildings, four of which have already been completed. 

The rigorous and minimal forms of the buildings are highlighted by the horizontal lines of the shading system, which is also decorative. 

Building information modelling (BIM) methods and technologies were adopted for the design. 

BIM, which in a nutshell can be defined as the virtual prototyping of a building, allows us to reach high levels of efficiency in every phase of the process.
